[A knock on the door on the morning of December 25th reveals a delivery boy, a bit grimy and dirty and who shoves an envelope towards Julius. Inside are a number of smaller envelopes, each filled with a number of different seeds, all of different local plants.
There's a note included as well, written in neat penmanship: I hope these help you remember Chantes, even after we leave. —Riza]
[Riza's so considerate!! It makes him smile a little. Christmas wasn't something he celebrated, but even this gesture of kindness is nice. He'll plant those seeds and take good care of them. Thanks Lieutenant!!]
[ in the morning, julius will find a small package waiting for him just outside his quarters. inside, he'll find a white, pouch, holding an assortment of individually-wrapped cookies, both of which were clearly handmade. beneath the pouch is the familiar alastair symbol in its traditional purple.
along with the package comes a simple card that reads:
[Following a quick knock on Julius's door, there'll be a small package left at the foot of his door. Inside is a small bag filled with chocolates in a variety of flavors, along with a note.
Thank you for being a friend. I hope you enjoy these. —Riza]
[ It's the morning of the fourteenth. As casual as Reika wants to be, she's still a little nervous. After all that's happened in Woodhurst, it hardly seems like the right time - but she won't have an opportunity for another year, and she's not sure if she can wait that long. ]
[It's been a few days since last she talked to Julius. She's had a few other talks since then, thought a few thoughts. There's still too much going on and not enough time to parse it all, but she can't put this off any longer.]
[ Reika did earn a good measure of money back home, but most of that money was spent on equipment and supporting Julius as well as herself. Here... she had money. And time to spend it, holy shit. ]

If you have an interest in bringing justice to Chantes, we welcome you to meet us in the woods on the evening of November 21st. Do not tell anyone.
The Order of the Chimera
[The letter is finished with a chimera symbol, nearly identical to the one burned into the ground that first day.]

[Surprise!! Guess who's back. (If he hasn't heard from Reika already.)]
THIS IS FINE hi val
The majority of us left Woodhurst without much of a notice. No one went back to Oska, instead we went to Terra Felis.
Various feline animals inhabited that planet. I don't think I saw much of anything else during that time.
[SO MANY DAMN CATS.]
